Video Audition Tips

From The Casting Team!

We are excited to begin casting! Since all casting for Next Pro Dancer will be done through Video Submissions, we wanted to give you some tips to submit your best video audition!

If you are creating a new routine specifically for Next Pro Dancer, here are some tips. If you are have an existing routine or dance reel to submit please read below and be sure your video follows some of these tips.

Most important is to be your self! Each dancer is unique and has their own style! Let that shine through and highlight your strengths.
Choose a routine that best represents you as a dancer and performance style.
Remember to have fun! Show us your personality and energy. We want to see you PERFORM!
Please use a high quality recording device if creating a new routine. If submitting a pre-existing routine please be sure that the footage is clean & clear, and clearly shows that YOU are the performer.
Test your sound and video before you submit.
Be sure your routine is well lit and we see you clearly.
Make sure you are framed in the camera so we have a full view of your performance.
